At Road Aid, we stand behind the quality of every battery we install. Our goal is to make sure you stay on the road with confidence, knowing your battery is covered by a solid warranty.
Road Aid Battery Replacement Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage
Road Aid provides a warranty on all new batteries installed by our technicians. The warranty period depends on the battery model and manufacturer’s specifications. The warranty period will be stated before purchase of battery.
The exact warranty period will be clearly stated on your invoice or warranty card at the time of installation.
2. What’s Covered
This warranty covers:

Manufacturing defects or faults in materials or workmanship.

Battery failure or loss of performance under normal use and proper maintenance.

Installation workmanship when performed by a certified Road Aid technician.
3. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Misuse, neglect, or improper installation by non-Road Aid personnel.

Electrical faults in the vehicle (e.g. alternator, regulator, wiring issues).

Physical damage, corrosion, tampering, or modification.
-
Overcharging, deep discharging, or improper storage.
-
Normal capacity loss due to age or high temperatures.
-
To the extent permitted by law, any damage to property, personal injury, direct or indirect loss, consequential losses or other expenses
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim:

Provide proof of purchase or installation receipt.

A Road Aid technician will test the battery to confirm if it qualifies under the warranty terms.

If the battery is found defective within the warranty period, Road Aid will replace it free of charge.
5. Call-Out Fees

Warranty covers the battery only.

If a technician is called out to test a battery and the battery is found not faulty, or the issue is caused by a vehicle defect (such as alternator, wiring, or electrical problems), a standard call-out and diagnostic fee will apply.

This fee covers the technician’s time, travel, and professional testing service.
6. Transferability
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and vehicle where the battery was installed. It is non-transferable.
7. Limitation of Liability

Road Aid’s liability is limited to the replacement or repair of the defective battery. Road Aid is not responsible for consequential losses, towing, or downtime costs.
Returns Policy

Returns require a proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

Installed or used batteries are not eligible for return, except under warranty conditions.

Return shipping or call-out costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the battery is found to be defective under warranty.

Road Aid reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions.
8. Customer Responsibility
To maintain warranty validity, customers must:

Ensure the vehicle’s charging and starting systems are in proper working order (alternator, starter motor, wiring, and terminals).

Avoid deep discharging the battery by leaving lights, radios, or accessories on when the vehicle is off.
-
Keep battery terminals clean and tightly secured to prevent poor connections or corrosion.
-
Refrain from tampering, modifying, or jump-starting incorrectly, as this can cause battery damage.

Operate the vehicle regularly to keep the battery charged and healthy, especially for vehicles not driven often.
-
Present a valid proof of purchase or installation record when making a claim.
